cookies

These web pages use cookies in part to enhance your experience. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. They help make our site more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are session cookies, which are automatically deleted when your visit ends. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website. Cookies necessary for electronic communication or for providing certain functions you desire (e.g., shopping cart feature) are stored based on Art. 6, para. 1, lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your browsing behavior) are stored, they are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Privacy Policy for WordPress

Our website is self-hosted but based on WordPress. We use the anti-spam plugin CleanTalk from WordPress to prevent possible spam when registering and within the comments. To do this, parameters such as certain words, IP addresses, email addresses or domain names are sent to a server in the USA and compared there. If CleanTalk identifies any of the transmitted content as spam, this will be returned to us as a message and the information will be stored in the USA. According to CleanTalk, the maximum storage period is 45 days. More information about CleanTalk at https://cleantalk.org/help/CleanTalk-GDPR-Compliance.

Server Log Files

The provider of these pages collects and stores information automatically in what's known as server log files. Your browser sends this data to us. These are:

    • Browser type and browser version
    • operating system used
    • Referrer URL
    • Host name of the accessing computer
    • Time of Server Request
    • IP address

A consolidation of these data with other data sources is not performed. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
